Percy Jackson is a twelve year old boy diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia, who has been expelled from several schools. On a trip with his mother, his friend Grover, revealed to be a satyr, urgently tells Percy's mother that Percy must go to a certain camp. As they drive towards camp, they are attacked by a Minotaur which grabs Percy's mother. She dissolves into a golden shower of light, while Grover and Percy narrowly escape.

Percy later wakes up and discovers that he has arrived in Camp Half-Blood, a secretive training ground for demigods. Thereafter, Percy is moved into the Hermes cabin under the care of Luke, the Cabin counselor. During a Capture the Flag game, Percy is attacked by the children of Ares. He heals when he steps into the adjoining river and is revealed as the son of Poseidon when Poseidon's green trident appears above his head glowing. Poseidon had broken an oath taken with Hades and Zeus after World War II of not having any more children because of the prophecy given by the Oracle of Delphi. It stated that a child of one of the Big Three gods (Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades) would make a decision on their sixteenth birthday that would either save or destroy the world. Percy is then granted a quest to find Zeus's master bolt which Chiron believes Hades has stolen.




When Thalia's tree is mysteriously poisoned, the magical borders of Camp Half-Blood begin to fail. Now Percy and his friends have just days to find the only magic item powerful to save the camp before it is overrun by monsters. The catch: they must sail into the Sea of Monsters to find it. Along the way, Percy must stage a daring rescue operation to save his old friend Grover, and he learns a terrible secret about his own family, which makes him question whether being the son of Poseidon is an honor or a curse




When Percy Jackson gets an urgent distress call from his friend Grover, he immediately prepares for battle. He knows he will need his powerful demigod allies at his side, his trusty bronze sword Riptide, and . . . a ride from his mom.

The demigods rush to the rescue to find that Grover has made an important discovery: two powerful half-bloods whose parentage is unknown. But that's not all that awaits them. The titan lord Kronos has devised his most treacherous plot yet, and the young heroes have just fallen prey.

They're not the only ones in danger. An ancient monster has arisen -- one rumored to be so powerful it could destroy Olympus -- and Artemis, the only goddess who might know how to track it, is missing. Now Percy and his friends, along with the Hunters of Artemis, have only a week to find the kidnapped goddess and solve the mystery of the monster she was hunting.

Along the way, they must face their most dangerous challenge yet: the chilling prophecy of the titan's curse.




Percy Jackson isn't expecting freshman orientation to be any fun, but when a mysterious mortal acquaintance appears, pursued by demon cheerleaders, things quickly go from bad to worse.

Percy Jackson, his friends, and the Olympians fight in a war resembling the original war between the Greek gods and the Titans and in a final battle with the powerful Titan, Kronos. They ultimately defeat Kronos in the battle and Olympus is saved. Many fight for Olympus, including the Hunters of Artemis, dryads, satyrs, naiads, and tree nymphs, Chiron's centaur cousins the Party Ponies, and the hellhound Mrs. O' Leary. They have to defend Mt. Olympus while defeating Kronos' huge army consisting of rogue half-bloods, dracaenae, Hyperboreans, Laestrygonians, a drakon, Hyperion, telekhines, and hellhounds.

The great prophecy doesn't apply to Percy but to Luke. Rachel tells that to Percy, saying to him that it will influence his choice when he turns 16. Luke, possessed by Kronos, eventually is shocked back into his normal self when Annabeth reminds him of the promise he made her long ago. The 'cursed blade' of the prophecy was the knife that Luke gave to Annabeth and promises to her that they are family. Because of this, Luke commits suicide by stabbing himself when Kronos takes over his body, fulfilling the prophecy and ending the war.
