|  Warcraft III - Essentials (Collection/ENG)  Warcraft III - Essentials (Collection/ENG) PC Game | Windows | Various | Shadowplay | 1.38 GB This is a collection of over 600 maps, replay/hosting/hotkey tools, guides on Warcraft III in general, every single official DotA map since it was made on TFT instead of RoC, personal recommendations on maps, the newest patch of Warcraft III TFT and a version of the Warcraft Version Switcher compiled by Shadowplay. If you want these, there is a guide which recommends spicific non-Warcraft III tools for things like voice chat. It is meant to be able to be posted public and on open fora without any problems. If you do not have Warcraft III, you will have to get it elsewhere. I made it because I was tired of having to back up all my stuff again after every time I reinstalled my OS. I overheard some people saying that they really liked Warcraft III and the custom maps but it was just so hard to get started because maps are so large these days that it takes forever to download and most can be found on dedicated sites all over the web. Therefore hosts just kicks anyone who does not have the map when they join and this is a great nuseance and leads to people not giving this wonderful game the chance it deserves. Personally I have neder had that problem but I have been playing Warcraft III TFT since 2003 so I have gotten the maps as they came out but not everyone has this luxury. Therefore I decided to upload all my maps in one great pack so that noone will ever get that problem again. Note that this is the unedited version of the maps folder so it has not been sorted at all after quality. That may come in a later release. I got a lot of great input from many different places and in the end I decided to also include my personal collection of DotA maps and tools which contains every single DotA map ever released publicly since it was ported from Warcraft III RoC to Warcraft III TFT. Having been one of the head admins for Dota-League.com for 3 years, I have a strong distaste for cheats and hacks however, so they have not been included. I plan on updating this pack every now and again and I gladly take suggestions – but keep the suggestions that involve any kind of cheat to yourself. I hope you will enjoy these programs as much as I have and I hope you will have a great time exploring the maps. I suggest that you start out looking through the Recommended Maps document in the Guides section.
