To do so, you’ll wield powerful new weapons, like the Alien Atomizer, Alien Disintegrator, and Drone Cannon, and deck yourself out in brand new outfits, like the Gemini-Era Spacesuit and even Samurai Armor.

It's strongly recommended to update Fallout 3 to the most current version before playing the add-on. Bethesda is known for their bugs.

Edit: It's become apparent that you do not need a no-cd crack. Thanks for the feedback guys, I didn't know about that. If you're still having troubles I'm told Fallout 3 Mod Manager works as a substitution for using a disc.
