Ajay (Sunny Deol) and Rane (Irrfan Khan) are 2 cops who are at loggerheads all the time. What started off as a little rivalry spirals into a battle for supremacy.
At every moment each of them tries to score a point over the other. When Ajay's wife (Isha Koppikar) is found murdered, with Ajay as the prime suspect, Rane is more than happy to head the investigation against him. Vidya (Konkana Sen Sharma), Rane's own sister, however, believes that Ajay is innocent.
