|  Dollhouse Season 1 HDTV (Weekly Update)  DOLLHOUSE Season 1 They can be anyone you want. The Dollhouse is a very secret, and very illegal, place where wishes come true. Clients with the right connections and enough money can hire Actives", people who have been programmed to perfectly fulfill the needs, and desires of their clients. The Actives are people who have chosen, for their own reasons, to surrender their bodies and minds for a five-year stay in the Dollhouse. Now they can be imprinted with any personality, skill, or even muscle memory. They can be the perfect companion, lover, spy, assassin; and when the job is done they forget everything. But something is wrong with the Active called "Echo". No longer just a blank slate waiting for her next assignment, Echo is remembering flashes of the lives that she has lived and the games she has played, and she is starting to wonder just who she really is... Dollhouse is a production of 20th Century Fox Television, Joss Whedon's "Mutant Enemy", and Eliza Dushku's "Boston Diva Productions". Links Episode 1 - Ghost Echo is one of the "Actives" in the elite and illegal Dollhouse. Through different personality downloads, she plays the role of a lovestruck girl on a romantic weekend, and then a ruthlessly efficient kidnapping negotiator. Meanwhile, FBI Agent Paul Ballard is struggling with his assignment to uncover information on the Dollhouse. The chase has destroyed his marriage and is wrecking his career, and it doesn't seem that he'll stop until he uncovers the truth.
Episode 2 The target Echo has been imprinted as the female counterpart for an avid outdoorsman, and learns quickly during her wilderness adventure, how the hunter can become the hunted. Agent Ballard is given a clue to the identity of Echo, which inspires him to keep up his investigation, while the tragic events at the Dollhouse which caused Boyd's arrival and Dr. Saunders' scars are revealed.
Echo is turned into a backup singer in order to protect a singing star from her crazed fans. Meanwhile, Agent Ballard continues with his investigation, but things soon take a turn for the worst.
Echo’s stint as a midwife doesn’t prove as laborious as when she becomes an expert safe-cracker, and more than an invaluable piece of art is stolen from her on the engagement, forcing Sierra to take on a familiar persona. Agent Ballard gives Lubov an ultimatum, and Adelle confides shocking information to Topher.
Echo (Eliza Dushku) is a young woman who is literally everybody's fantasy. She is one of a group of men and women who can be imprinted with personality packages, including memories, skills, language—even muscle memory—for different assignments. The assignments can be romantic, adventurous, outlandish, uplifting, sexual and/or very illegal. When not imprinted with a personality package, Echo and the others are basically mind-wiped, living like children in a futuristic dorm/lab dubbed the Dollhouse, with no memory of their assignments—or of much else. The show revolves around the childlike Echo's burgeoning self-awareness, and her desire to know who she was before, a desire that begins to seep into her various imprinted personalities and puts her in danger both in the field and in the closely monitored confines of the Dollhouse.
Echo is sent on an engagement as the perfect wife for a lonely internet mogul. Elsewhere, the attacker's identity of Sierra is revealed; Mellie's life is endangered; and Ballard and Echo come face-to-face.
After a college campus is threatened by a deadly outbreak of a virus, Echo returns to school where parts of her previous life comes into focus.
Echo and Sierra are sent to locate a Dollhouse traitor. Meanwhile, Adelle conceals a secret and Mellie tells Ballard surprising news.
When Adelle’s wealthy friend is murdered, Adelle imprints Echo with the woman’s memories and personality to solve the case. Ballard looks into Mellie’s past, and Topher secretly programs Sierra for an engagement.
Episode 11 - Briar Rose Ballard's investigation leads him to the agoraphobic designer of the Dollhouse, and the story of "Sleeping Beauty" foreshadows Echo's future, while allowing her to help a young girl deal with her traumatic past. Adelle goes to the attic in search of answers, while Alpha reveals himself and sets his game in motion.
Episode 12 - Omega With Echo/Caroline in tow, Alpha leaves the Dollhouse. As Boyd and Ballard attempt to find him, the story of Caroline, Alpha, and much of the events leading up to the present are revealed.
